Several weeks ago, I was reminded of the importance of husbands taking their wives out on dates. I've been wanting for the right time to do this since that point. Tonight after church, my wife and I went out for dinner. We had a lovely time and enjoyed some scrumptious pizza.
Alas, I also enjoyed a Dr. Pepper. They taste so yummy with pizza, but it was too late to drink responsibly. Laurel warned me, "won't that keep you up?" "Probably, I responded" with foolish abandon. My mind isn't quite working right now, but neither is it willing to slumber. So I'm left in the land of productivelessness. And while I realize that is not a word, somehow it doesn't seem to matter right now.
Good date; good evening; bad night; bad pop.
