I've discovered something that I seem to have missed every other time in my life that I tried to pick up an instrument. Practice works. I have been picking up the guitar for about five to ten minutes every day. It's amazing! Every day I seem to be able to do a little bit more. Something that I can't quite do one day is often magically accomplished the next day. How is this possible? Don't go thinking that I'm already a virtuoso. I only know three chords, and I can only transition somewhat smoothly between two of them. But a week ago not even this was so.
